We’re happy to take care of your vehicle registration.
You’d rather spend your time on something else, or simply don’t have the time to register your new car? No problem — we’ll take care of it for you.
We offer the following services for a fee:
• Registration of your vehicle within a maximum of 48 hours in Hamburg
• Registration in areas surrounding Hamburg within a maximum of 72 hours
• Deregistration / transfer of registration
• Preparation of all necessary documents
• Assistance in finding used car insurance
• Temporary transfer plates valid for 5 days
Vehicle documents and registration
The documents for vehicle registration can be picked up at our office or mailed to you. If you choose to use our registration service, we’ll need the following documents from you:
• Vehicle registration certificate Part 1 (Fahrzeugschein)
• Vehicle registration certificate Part 2 (Fahrzeugbrief)
• EC Certificate of Conformity (COC document)
• Main inspection and emissions test (if applicable)
• Your valid ID card or passport
• EVB number from your insurance provider (formerly double card)
• SEPA direct debit mandate (for vehicle tax)
• Power of attorney if the car is being registered to someone else
